TikTok Creator Marketplace: How Brands Find Creators in 2026

Key takeaways

  • TikTok Creator Marketplace now sits inside TikTok One, TikTok's creative platform for brands.

  • Payment options and cross-border payments vary by region and account, so check before you commit.
  • If you want applicants without outreach, a free brief on Jem Social lets creators come to you.

Last updated: November 2026

TikTok Creator Marketplace is TikTok's official place for brands to find, invite and pay TikTok creators, and it now lives inside a platform called TikTok One. You search for creators, send invites or accept applications, and can sync approved posts to TikTok Ads Manager.

This guide is for brand owners and marketers who want to know how the TikTok Creator Marketplace works today, what to check before you start, and when another route is the better fit. Facts about TikTok come from TikTok's own pages, opened in November 2026.

What TikTok Creator Marketplace is today

TikTok's TikTok One page describes a creative platform with several parts. As of November 2026, the page lists these:

  • Creator Marketing: run custom creator campaigns directly with creators or through a partner, from discovery to payment.
  • Creator Content at Scale: order volumes of ad creative from creators. TikTok says this offers 10 to 100 UGC videos in 7 days with weekly delivery.
  • Partner Exchange: a pool of partners who produce ad creative, with or without creators.
  • Content Suite: find organic TikTok content and turn it into Spark Ads.
  • Creator Marketing Agent: an assistant that turns goals into briefs and creator recommendations. The page shows a "Request access" button, so it may not be open to every account.

If you search for the old Creator Marketplace, TikTok One is where you land. For most brands, the part you will use first is Creator Marketing.

What you can do with creators inside TikTok One

TikTok's help center (updated April 2026) describes two project types. In a Branded content with creators project, you can work with creators in four ways:

  • Invite links: share your project with a shortlist or through a fast invite link.
  • Retroactive invite links: ask to sync a post a creator already published into your project.
  • Direct invitation: use Explore Creators to ask any eligible creator to collaborate.
  • Open application: creators apply to join your project.

You can then request authorization to sync a creator's post to your TikTok Ads Manager account. In a Creator content at scale project, creators make ad creative that is synced to Ads Manager. It can be published from the creator's account or from your business account.

TikTok also notes that you can only view and search creators in your current region. Creators from other regions show up as links to switch region.

How to find creators on TikTok Creator Marketplace, step by step

  1. Get access. Sign up for TikTok One as an advertiser. TikTok's payments page says setup includes business verification and tax information where required, so allow time for it.
  2. Write the brief first. Cover the goal, the product, deliverables, budget, timeline and how you plan to use the video. Our campaign brief generator gives you a structure to start from.
  3. Create a project. Choose Branded content with creators if you want posts on creators' own accounts.
  4. Search and shortlist. TikTok's 2023 guide to the marketplace said creator profiles show average views, followers and follower growth, engagement rate, recent and popular videos, past brand partners and basic audience details such as gender and location. Interfaces change, so check what your account shows today.
  5. Check the audience, not just the size. Use our engagement rate calculator if you want to compare creators on the same basis.
  6. Invite or accept applications. Agree on price and deliverables before anything is posted.
  7. Review before it goes live, then measure. Check drafts against the brief. TikTok One has project reporting, and Ads Manager covers paid results.

Who you will find there, and who you will miss

TikTok's creator sign-up page (updated July 2026) lists three eligibility rules. Creators must be at least 18, be in a country or region where TikTok One has launched, and meet TikTok's Community Guidelines and Branded Content Policy. It adds that to take part in projects, creators need at least 1,000 followers plus other requirements that vary by project and can change.

Creators fill in a profile with starting rates, contact details, languages and industries. Those are the fields you filter and compare on.

The practical point: a creator who makes strong product videos but has a small following may not be able to join your project. If you care more about the video than the audience, you need another source for those creators. That is where a UGC platform or a brief posted to a creator marketplace can help.

How payment works

TikTok's payments page for advertisers (updated October 2026) says you can pay TikTok online for eligible creator collaboration projects. Supported methods may include credit card, debit card, bank transfer, or monthly invoicing for eligible advertisers. You are only required to pay for projects where you accept the final price and confirm payment.

The same page warns that bank transfer, monthly invoicing and cross-border payments may not be available for every advertiser or project type. Check this before you fall in love with a creator in another country.

TikTok One does not set creator rates for you. Creators list their own starting rates, so budget by deliverable. Our influencer rate calculator can help you sanity-check an offer.

Usage rights, ads and disclosure

Decide how you will use the video before you invite anyone. If you want to run it as an ad, confirm that in the brief. If you want it on your website or on other platforms, agree those rights in writing too. Our guide to briefing creators for UGC ads covers what to ask for.

Paid and gifted posts must be disclosed. The FTC explains what that means in Disclosures 101 for Social Media Influencers. Put the disclosure requirement in your brief so creators do not have to guess.

What to put in a brief for TikTok creators

A clear brief saves a round of edits. Keep it to one page and include:

  • The goal: awareness, sign-ups, sales or app installs. Pick one.
  • The product and one key message: what the viewer should remember after five seconds.
  • Deliverables: number of videos, length, and whether you need a draft to approve before posting.
  • Dates: when drafts are due and when posts go live.
  • Rights: where you can reuse the video and for how long.
  • Disclosure: a line telling creators to mark the post as paid or gifted.
  • Do and don't list: claims you cannot make, and any words you want avoided.

State the budget range in the brief so creators can tell at a glance whether it fits.

When TikTok One is not the right tool

TikTok One works best when TikTok is your main channel and you want creators to post to their own audiences. It is less helpful in these cases:

  • You also run ads on Instagram or other platforms. You will need content and rights that travel beyond TikTok.
  • You want to compare many creators across platforms. A cross-platform search tool fits better.
  • You are a small team with no time to chase replies. Posting a brief and letting creators come to you saves effort.

This is where Jem Social fits. A brand account is free and needs no card. Posting a brief is free: you write one line, Jem's AI turns it into a full brief in about 4 minutes, creators apply, and you see everyone who applied in one place. Booking creators through Jem needs the paid plan, which has a 7-day free trial. Jem is not a replacement for TikTok One's ad tools. It does not run your TikTok project for you.

The Influencer Finder lets you search 30M+ creators by niche, city, follower count, engagement rate and rate, then send a contract and pay through escrow. For a real example, Triller spent $1,500 across 40 nano and micro creators booked through Jem Social and tracked more than 10,000 conversions at about $0.15 each, as shown on Jem's pricing page.
