What happens if I pass the limits of my plan?

Very few users ever hit the limits of their plan per month. In rare cases that you do go over the limits of your plan, you can purchase more credits.

Jem Social — Claude Connector Documentation

The Jem Social connector brings influencer discovery into your Claude conversations. Instead of switching between tools, you can search Jem Social's influencer database directly from Claude — filtering by niche, platform, location, follower count, and engagement rate — and get back real creator profiles without leaving the chat.

Prerequisites

Before connecting, make sure you have:

An active Jem Social subscription (Influencer Finder plan). Tools will return a SUBSCRIPTION_REQUIRED error if your plan is inactive or expired. Upgrade at jem.social/pricing.
A Jem Social account with a verified email address.
A Claude account (Free, Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise).

How to Connect

Open claude.ai and click the "+" button in the lower left of the chat interface (or type "/").
Select Connectors from the menu.
Browse or search for "Jem Social" in the Connectors Directory.
Click Connect.
You'll be redirected to a login screen — sign in or create an account using the same email address registered on your Jem Social account.
Important: Your password here is separate from your Jem Social app password. Even if you use the same email, the credentials you set up on this login screen are independent — your existing Jem Social password will not work here. You'll need to create a new password (or use "Forgot password" to set one) the first time you connect.
Approve the requested permissions.
You're connected. Jem Social tools will now be available in your Claude conversations.

Available Tools

search_influencers

Search Jem Social's influencer database using structured filters. Accepts natural location text and resolves it automatically to supported regions.

Filters you can use:

Platform: instagram, tiktok, or youtube
Location: City, state, or country in plain text (e.g. "Houston, TX" or "United Kingdom")
Niche: One or more niches (e.g. "fitness", "food, travel")
Follower range: Minimum and/or maximum follower count
Engagement rate: Minimum and/or maximum percentage
Limit: Number of results per page (max 10)

Returns: Creator profiles including full name, username, profile picture, follower count, and engagement rate.

get_platform_locations

Returns the list of supported locations for a given platform. Useful for checking which cities, states, or countries are available before running a location-filtered search.

Input: Platform (instagram, tiktok, or youtube)

Returns: Full list of supported location strings for that platform.

Note: You don't need to call this before search_influencers. Location validation and suggestions are handled automatically inside the search tool.

Location Matching

The connector intelligently resolves plain-text location input to supported regions. For example, typing "NYC" or "New York City" will automatically match "New York, United States".

If a location is ambiguous or unsupported, the tool will return suggested alternatives ranked by similarity. For example:

    Location "Miami" is ambiguous.

    Suggestions: ["Miami, Florida, United States"]

Simply re-run your search using one of the suggested location strings.

Pagination

Results are returned in pages of up to 10 creators per search. If more results are available, simply ask Claude to continue and it will fetch the next set of results.

Troubleshooting

"SUBSCRIPTION_REQUIRED" error

Your Jem Social subscription is inactive or expired. Visit jem.social/pricing to renew or upgrade.

"AUTH_REQUIRED" error

Your session has expired or the connection was interrupted. Disconnect and reconnect the Jem Social connector from Claude Settings → Connectors.

"AMBIGUOUS_LOCATION" or "UNSUPPORTED_LOCATION" error

The location you entered couldn't be matched. The tool will return suggested alternatives — use one of those in your next prompt.

Can't log in

If your password isn't working, use the Forgot Password option on the login screen to set a new one — it is separate from your Jem Social app password.

No results returned

Try broadening your filters — remove the location constraint, widen the follower range, or reduce the number of active filters. Some niche/location combinations may have limited creator coverage.

Connector not appearing in Claude

Make sure you're signed in to Claude.ai. Try refreshing the page or re-adding the connector from Settings → Connectors.

Data & Privacy

The Jem Social connector:

Only accesses data you explicitly request via search filters
Does not store personal search data beyond the duration of your session
Transmits all data over HTTPS/TLS encryption
Does not share your personal data with third parties beyond what's necessary to process your request
